Estate Planning

We provide a full range of estate planning services, including wills and multiple wills for probate planning, inter vivos trusts and testamentary trusts, powers of attorney for property and personal care, multi-jurisdictional and cross-border planning, and special needs planning (including trusts to protect disabled children and individuals).

Estate Administration

We assist Estate Trustees in all aspects of the administration of an estate, starting with the probate application. We assist with co-ordinating the payment of estate debts and distribution of assets to beneficiaries, jointly held assets, and estate transactions relating to property, including family and estate transfers and survivorship applications.

We represent estate trustees and beneficiaries in all manner of estate litigation, including will and trust challenges and interpretation, dependants' relief claims, estate trustee compensation disputes and passing of accounts, seeking to remove estate trustees for dishonesty or incompetence, and seeking orders for direction from the court.
